• Standard Engineering showing generic compliance with the FBC for submittal with your permit package
• Site or project specific information to demonstrate compliance with ANSI 7 (suction entrapment) and ANSI 15 (energy) requirements contained in the FBC
• Supplemental specifications when projects need retaining walls, negative edge details, or other special pool or spa structural situations not covered in the standard engineering

• $75 for one specific project ($40 if we do the site specific ANSI 7 and ANSI 15 work)

When needed, we are glad to modify our engineering, at no added cost

$120, which includes ANSI 15 and ANSI 7 sheets with detailed TDH calculations and equipment specs.

To get started, please email us the following:

1. Your pool and site plan
2. The completed ANSI work
3. Your preferred delivery method

We’ll conduct a code compliant plan review. Once it’s approved, we’ll send it to you by mail or email within five business days.

• Simply email intake@kimesengineering.com your dimensioned pool and site plan
• Make sure the following information is on the plan or in the email:
  • Project address and owner information
  • Specific brand and model of the recirculation pump
  • Specific brand and model of other pumps
  • Specific brand and size of filter
  • Specific brand and model of heater
  • Number of suction outlets and specific drain covers you use
  • Any specific pipe sizes you prefer
  • Pool equipment location

We’re happy to provide equipment specifications based on your guidelines.

With all of the needed specific information, we strive to have ink or digital signed sets delivered within five days to ten business days.
